About Us

This is a brief version of our long, strange trip.

VirtualEmployee

If the last decade was about building AI into products, 2026 is about putting AI directly in the hands of the people doing the work. VirtualEmployee is our answer to a simple question: what if every professional had their own AI agent, one that truly knew them? Think of it as Cursor for Professionals.

Every environment is fully isolated and fully private. Your data never mixes with anyone else's, and your conversations are never used for training. The agent remembers every decision, preference, and conversation across every session, carrying your full institutional knowledge with no arbitrary context limits. It runs on any model, Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, and keeps your memory and workflows intact no matter which one you choose. Installable agentic skills let you add capabilities without exposing your environment. Live in five minutes. Useful from day one. It never gets sick. It never takes a vacation.

DAR.WIN: Senior Care, Evolved

Our work in machine learning and passive sensing led us somewhere unexpected, and deeply personal. DAR.WIN became the invisible safety blanket for seniors aging in place and in senior living communities. Using WiFi signals already present in the home, DAR.WIN passively monitors daily routines without cameras, wearables, or any intrusion into privacy. Four smart plugs. A fifteen-minute install. Complete peace of mind.

Morning wake-up emails keep families connected. Inactivity alarms catch problems before they become emergencies. Seven and thirty-day activity and wellness trends give caregivers and family members a clear, data-driven picture of how their loved one is really doing. It is the kind of product that makes you proud. Technology doing something that genuinely matters.

AI First

AI is now everything. We have reworked everything internally to be AI first. Just like in our early days, we are once again at the forefront of something new. We are grateful to be able to help our customers, our companies, our partners, our colleagues, our families and our friends learn to navigate this new way of doing things and become better, stronger and faster.

ArtOps: The Operating System for the Modern Gallery

After a decade working with some of the world's most renowned artists and galleries, including Gagosian, Kasmin, Damien Hirst, and Jeff Koons, we had seen firsthand how the fine art industry actually operated: spreadsheets, PDFs, fragmented legacy systems, and deals dying in email threads. The technology gap was glaring. So we built ArtOps to close it.

ArtOps is a sales-first deal management platform designed specifically for commercial art galleries. It handles the entire deal flow from inquiry to invoice: inventory management, client relationships, private offers, global payments across 138 currencies, built-in AML/KYC compliance, and a white-glove buyer portal that gives collectors a branded digital experience. AI-driven insights help galleries close deals faster and price smarter. Top-tier galleries worldwide have left their spreadsheets behind and never looked back.

Building a Portfolio

With DAR.WIN running for several years, we had proven to ourselves that we could take a product from zero to market. That gave us the confidence and the process to do it again. We turned our attention to the art world, an industry we knew deeply and one that was badly underserved by technology. The groundwork was laid for what would become our most ambitious software product yet.

Machine Learning

The AI revolution started to take off. With the advent of Yann Lecun's work on CNNs, and the commercialization of deep learning, we were able to build some of the first machine learning models for clients. This work culminated in the launch of our first porftolio company, DAR.WIN - Ecommerce Evolved.

Learning to Build

With every project, they got more complex. Over time the iPad and the Android market opened up, and we were able to build apps for other platforms. We built software products, then software companies for clients (OnFlow, and Find. Eat. Drink.). We built comprehensive backends, and learned to build data pipelines that serviced millions of users.

First Major Release

Being one of the first agencies to build iPhone apps in New York, our doors were swinging with clients. After building many apps for others, we successfully delivered our first self-bulit app, a game called "Go Car Go". It was a great hit!

Founded CARAVAN

Caravan was started with Adam and Frank, both technologists in Brooklyn, NY,who were inspired to work with the iPhone. Apple had just revolutionized the mobile phone market and we were eager to ride the wave.
