Caravan designs and builds mobile apps for multiple platforms from the ground up. We have years of experience translating brand identity and design best practices for iOS, Android, mobile web and gaming platforms. Web and Content Management
Caravan Interactive has a long lineage of designing and building beautiful and functional websites. The sites we currently manage have hundreds of thousands of hits a month. We build websites, e-commerce platforms, and content management systems designed for the cloud.

Enterprise Software
Caravan can create and deploy a wide variety of content management systems for mobile and web applications, and websites. We can deploy and support conventional CMSes like ExpressionEngine or Joomla, or design and develop a custom platform for enterprise-level clients. We also build webservice / API tiers on top of existing CMSes, providing a datasource for mobile apps and other content channels.

Team
Frank McDermott
Chief Executive Officer
Frank has a combined 12 years experience in the technology and consumer goods industry. Writing his first program in 1993, Frank pursued his passion for development, ultimately graduating with a BS degree in Computer Science from RPI in 2000.
Since then, Frank has launched 2 businesses, delivered a line of high-end beverages to market, consulted in the finance and technology industries, worked for global brands and learned how to play the guitar. Most notably, Frank managed global operations for Voss Water, helping grow the company from $28MM in 2005 to $45MM in 2008. At the height of the recession in 2009, Frank left Voss to start what became Caravan Interactive.
Frank is a New York native and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Adam Shackelford
Chief Operations Officer
Adam brings to Caravan over 8 years of experience in interactive design and development. Leading development on all of Caravan's mobile initiatives, Adam brings a diversity of web and mobile technology experience to the executive team. Prior to mobile software development, Adam specialized in touchscreen kiosk software, web portals, and games and training software for Interactive Advertising Agencies.
He originally hails from Indianapolis but currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Joshua Scorca
Mobile Developer
Joshua Scorca graduated from the University California, Santa Cruz in 2010 with a degree in Computer Science: Computer Game Design. His passion for technology gave him the drive to graduate in just three years. In his senior year of college, Josh created the first competitive, real-time strategy/trading card game for the iPhone. After graduating, Josh moved to San Francisco and began working for Caravan developing applications for iOS.
In his spare time, Josh likes to design video games with his friends and discuss the potential of new technologies to change ‘the industry.’ Josh is proficient in the following languages: Objective-C, C/C++, Java, and C#.
Hunter Francis
Mobile Developer
Hunter graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2010 with a degree in Computer Science: Game Design. During his college years he placed second in the UC Santa Cruz business competition, and created an original game for iPhone using Cocos2D. Still an active game designer, he adds a fresh perspective on interactive spaces with his work at Caravan. Hunter is proficient in the following technologies: Objective-C, C++, Java, and Flash/ActionScript.
Nicole Duquette
Account Manager
Nicole started with Caravan in June of 2011 as an account manager. Hailing from a variety of consumer facing industries, Nicole provides a level of customer service to all of the projects she manages. Nicole also brings an objective design perspective to CRVN’s projects, as she’s studied illustration at Ringling School of Art, and holds a BFA in Painting and Printing from Virginia Commonwealth University with a minor in writing.
A southern belle in the big city, Nicole is originally from Virginia but resides in Brooklyn, New York. She is eager to participate in the multi-faceted world of web development and mobile technology.
Brendan Enright
Project Manager
Brendan started with Caravan in January of 2012, bringing several years managing experience gleaned from time spent as a point person for various New York City initiatives. Brendan hails from the Midwest, growing up in Indianapolis and later, graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a dual degree in Political Science and Anthropology. He now lives in Brooklyn, NY where he is thrilled to assist in shaping the landscape of the burgeoning mobile development world.
Matt Mewton
Front-End Web Developer
Matt is a web developer with over 6 years of experience in design and production. Originally from Massachusetts, he began his career in print design and photography after graduating from Emerson College. Shortly after moving to Brooklyn, he learned how to code and established himself as a freelancer in the New York area. With experience in interactive technology, code as well as design, Matt offers a unique perspective to each project he works on. Starting with Caravan in September of 2011, he is happy to be a part of the team.
